10 Best Tips for A High Score
Listen to English every day
The only way to get better your IELTS listening skills is to listen to English daily. It doesn’t matter if it’s just 10 or 15 minutes here and there while you’re travelling by bus, having lunch or making tea, just listen to something.
What You Need to Do Listening Test
You should hear English used naturally in many different contexts and spoken with a range of accents. During your test. Also, you could hear speakers from the UK (including different regional accents), Ireland, the US, Canada, New Zealand, Australia or South Africa.
Listen to a range of things
The test will include two monologues (one person speaking) and two conversations. So, you should practice listening to both. You will find all the practice material you need online. Podcasts and TED talks are great for listening to monologues, and radio shows and YouTube interviews are great for conversations.
Improve your vocabulary
The third of my IELTS listening tips may seem obvious. Also, many students don’t know the most effective way to improve their vocabulary. Merely memorizing lists of new words will yield very few results. You don’t completely understand the words – what they mean and how they are used in context – and you rapidly forget them.
When listening to spoken English, actively listen, that is, notice words you hear that are unfamiliar to you or that you don’t fully understand. Also, then check them in a dictionary. Pay attention to the meaning, pronunciation, and how the word is used, including common synonyms, antonyms, and conjunctions. Write down all this information in your vocabulary notebook.
Yes, everything in this world take time but you should spend your time on such great things for what you want to attain your dream.
Each time you do this you will have added one more word to your vocabulary that you will remember and can use with confidence in all parts of the IELTS exam.

Identify your weaknesses
Throughout the website, you’ll hear me say, “Practice, practice, practice.” True, of course, but practice wisely. Simply finishing practice test after practice test isn’t necessarily going to improve your score. Take the time to analyze your results and determine what mistakes you regularly make. Then work on improving them.
Is it the grammar that lets you down, a limited vocabulary or do you have trouble following conversations? Identify your biggest challenges and focus on them.
Cambridge English books of authentic test scripts (and some online tests) include transcriptions of the recordings. These will help you understand why you got a particular answer wrong.
The introduction
The next two another IELTS listening tips relay to the test itself. First, the presentation.
